Artist statement

My objects negotiate my inner world and seek to reflect an image back to the recipient through intuitive material abstraction. ‚Relics from the Future‘ built on formal, material and perceptual paradoxes. Distant signs, often from a half-awake state, allow long-buried connections to emerge. On how many levels can material be permeated and understood? To what extent is abstraction a hiding place?
