Lives and works in Toronto, ON, Canada

Artist statement

I am a visual artist from Toronto, Canada. I am a woman and a Canadian-Jamaican artist who is self-taught. I use my creativity and artistic creation to ascend to a more peaceful and harmonious self. Through several different mediums such as pencil, coloured pencils, watercolour, pastels, oil paint and acrylic paint for over 5 years. I am passionate about painting and enjoy the creative process of creating art inspired by nature in life and my imagination. My current work focuses on the light, beauty, flow, and energy brought into human and animal life. My intention is to show, through surrealism and realism, how nature is intertwined with and nourishes everything in life.
