Artist statement

In my poetic research I investigate discursive aspects of visual language, where I explore issues related to identity and social perceptions of the body, as well as the links between individual memory and collective narrative. These studies have been developed on two fronts, one of a more political nature and the other linked to the conformations of the masculine. On both fronts, I seek forms of representation through images, moving mainly between photography, painting and, more recently, washed drawing.
