Lives and works in Berlin, Germany

Artist statement

Images drawn from social and political life—crowds, workers, protest, policing, animals, architecture, surveillance, and everyday scenes—form the material basis of the work. Produced through direct observation and accumulated over time, they are treated not as evidence, but as forms already shaped by the systems in which they circulate. Through editing, accumulation, fragmentation, enlargement, and reconfiguration, these images are moved across scales, contexts, and material conditions. A crowd can become a landscape; an image can become a surface, an object, or an environment. The work is concerned with what happens when an image remains recognizable while its function and position begin to shift. Meaning is not fixed, but produced through relations between images, bodies, objects, and spaces. The resulting installations occupy a space between image, object, and environment.
