2ruTh7’s debut spoken word mixtape “ARS MORIENDI: Ruminations of a Rogue Prophet” takes listeners on a powerful and introspective journey through the raw, emotional landscapes of trauma-informed poetry. This project offers a poignant exploration of the multifaceted challenges faced by individuals navigating the complex intersections 2ruTh7's lyrical narratives vividly illuminate. His work highlights the perils that many individuals encounter within these tumultuous realms, exposing the harsh realities of social death imposed by the incarceration system, particularly on people of color. The project masterfully unpacks the profound consequences of this social mortality, revealing the alienation from community, culture, and the silencing of those who survive the ordeal. At its core, "ARS MORIENDI" delves into the concept of self-empowerment and self-actualization, mirroring the journey of resurrection from the social grave.
