Artist statement

My practice explores the relationship between light, color, and silence. I approach painting as a space of presence rather than representation. Through subtle tonal transitions and restrained chromatic tensions, I construct visual fields of quiet intensity. Raw linen canvas functions as both material and conceptual ground, allowing the surface to remain open, luminous, and unresolved. My works do not seek to narrate or symbolize, but to be encountered — as moments of stillness that exist before interpretation and meaning.
