Artist statement
My works are triggered from feeling of homelessness, that I belong to nowhere. I wonder if home really exists, or it is a social and cultural mythology. By extension, I philosophize relationships between human, space and identity. Often with a nostalgic gaze, I look into the subjects of state to become desiring nomads in a constant process and transformation. As our world consists with nomad and sedentary, and they enrich each other, I explore interdisciplinary interaction between opened and closed space.
