Lives and works in Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA

Artist statement

I’m intrigued by the taboo, eccentric, forbidden, unconventional and unseen. These pieces are splintered fragments of my essence visually rhapsodized onto canvas. My work explores the depths of my own psyche and aims to evoke guttural emotionality from viewers that struggle with outlets of external expression. Sensual, intensive, and explicit visuals aim to reveal hidden truths within and expose that with which isn’t so easily accessible. Uninhibited and expressive, I aim to provoke deep introspection in my viewers and elicit their ability to remain curious and observational without judgment, not only through the experience of viewing my work but throughout their daily lives as well. I aim to create images that allow impressions and emotionality to travel, oscillate, and transform into multiple different perspectives. My visuals emphasize the importance of subtext, delving beneath the surface and understanding that not only is one inhibiting themselves by grasping onto hidebound perspectives but also shattering any possible type of human connection they could possibly experience in the process.
