Artist statement

Grew up in an environment where besides parents,one grandmother was living too in the same house.She was the source of inspiration for my aesthetic sense and everything relating to art became my thing and there was no looking back.Studied Fine Arts in college for four years as one of the subjects.Then with many breaks in between ,kept on painting besides so many other crafts.The very creative brain always needed diversity,so all my life i was engaged in painting,writing poetry,designing different items using textile materials,knitting and crocheting.I paint on my visualised images and on my imaginations.My paintings keep on developing from start to end.It is a journey full of pain and ecstasy.I feel paintings are not factory products,instead they are very exclusive and each one should have a masterpiece value.
