Artist statement
My practice explores how sculptural form can evolve through software failure, structural instability, and repeated transformation. Since 2014, I have been deliberately working with unexpected digital errors rather than treating them as defects to be corrected. I manipulate these failures, observe the resulting structures, and decide which forms should be preserved, developed, or discarded. Over time, this process evolved into what I now call Structural BUG Art. The body is often my starting point, but it is not the final subject. I use the same or related sculptural bodies across different states, cycles, and degrees of transformation. As the structure changes, the figure may remain recognizable, become fragmented, or move toward an almost independent abstract form. For me, the important element is not the accident itself, but the act of judgment. Software can produce failure, but it cannot decide which failure becomes sculpture. My current long-term project, Void & BUG, extends this practice into a system of repeated states, cycles, and time-based variables. Through this work, I examine how one body can generate different outcomes under changing conditions, and how instability can become a method for creating form rather than merely destroying it.
