Lives and works in Herzliya, Israel

Artist statement

I create from deep emotional resonances that emerge through the dialogue between my inner world and the realities I encounter in life. A memory, an event, a material, or an image in nature can awaken an emotional response from which the work begins to take shape. My creative process is intuitive. Rather than beginning with a fixed plan, I allow feelings and materials to lead me through my work. I’m drawn to materials that many people overlook or discard—metal, bark, nets, paper pulp, thread, and found objects. Often I collect them before knowing what they will become, trusting that each material will eventually reveal its place. The materials I work with already carry life, time and memory within them. They are not simply used; they become partners in the process. Their surfaces, histories and imperfections evoke emotions that gradually become images, and the work develops through an ongoing dialogue between material and feeling. For me, creating art is a way of listening to memories, to materials and to that quiet movement between my inner self and the world around me, giving form to an inner struggle that cannot always be expressed in words. Each viewer is free to experience and understand it in their own way. Creating is inseparable from my life: it is how I experience, understand and respond to the world.
