Lives and works in Hückeswagen, Germany

Artist statement

I make middle and large format paintings and sculptures about me, people and animals and the spaces they inhabit. My work comes from noticing how differently I feel and act in different places, and from trying to understand the invisible forces behind these changes. There is also a longing in my work to find the places where I feel most present and able to act, and to understand where that place exists within myself.
