Artist statement

This serie of paintings is about confusion, disorder, over-information. I use my ground skill, drawing, to think non-verbally about the nature of abstract objects, using drawings like a philosopher would use words, and then using the drawings as a base to develop the paintings. The use of lightfull colours enhance the effect of the fitting forms in a mostly two dimensional arrangement, that sometimes remembers an a architectural plan. I am brazilian, working at the moment in Munich, Germany. I studied architecture at the Santa Ursula University in Rio de Janeiro and arts at the Parque Lage School of Visual Arts, also in Rio.
