Lives and works in Yerevan, Armenia

Artist statement

My work explores the city as a living organism shaped by memory, infrastructure, movement, and human presence. Drawing on my architectural background, I investigate the relationships between built environments and psychological space through large-scale abstract compositions and linear structures. I approach urban landscapes as systems of tension and transformation rather than fixed forms. Aerial perspectives, cartographic rhythms, and layered networks become visual tools for examining how cities expand, dissolve, and continuously redefine collective experience. Working with acrylic and pen on canvas, I seek to reveal the invisible forces that connect architecture, environment, and memory. My paintings do not represent specific places; instead, they construct spatial narratives that exist between reality and imagination, inviting viewers to reconsider the city as both a physical structure and an emotional landscape.
