Artist statement
As a philosophe and media artist, I am deeply driven by the question of what truly motivates human behavior — what drives one to act. Many times, mankind knows what is right, yet it acts differently. What is the real source that lies behind the power of human action that shapes reality? Knowledge itself won't determine what one does, but rather other forces play a role that are related to human feelings and beliefs. My aim is to understand these impulses through photography and film images involves analyzing and comprehending the human mind's meaning-making processes. The human world that flourishes in inequality, injustice, and is embedded in a tyrannical, raw power dominance raises deep questions about mankind's nature. It leads me to explore the potential of art to transform human behavior, delving into the fascinating topic of human conditioning in relation to art and media, such as photography and film.
