William Winter
Lives and works in Berlin, Germany
Artist statement
William Winter uses concept-based interdisciplinary approaches to explore conventions and process-driven rituals and to investigate the relationships between the form and function of found objects from contemporary daily life – the cage and comfort that is domestic consumerism. His work employs a variety of media including kinetic sculpture, video, painting, mould-making, machine-building, installation, performance, and musical composition.
