Artist statement
I cherish every possibility of poetic meaning in an image. There is a romance to painting that is akin to watching clouds pass in the sky and attempting to name them as familiar objects. Rather than asserting authorship, I wish to use my paintings to generate space in which multiple narratives can exist at the same time, each one as valid as the other. In that sense, my painting are not activated until they reach the viewers. My paintings are rich with unintentionally.
