Artist statement

Xiuching Tsay is a Thai born, London based artist. Tsay creates acid bright paintings and mixed medium works. Her art revolves around the concept of ‘The indefinite self-making images’, depicting the dynamic, the interconnected processes of life and ecosystems that shape existence including the eccentrics. Tsay works trace a series of patterns reminiscent of a sound/light waves, anatomical networks, the evolution of spiritual beliefs in Southeast asia and human communication technology. Merges concepts from physics and spiritual laws of attraction, expressing the mysterious connections between these elements coupled with her own existential narratives.
