Artist statement
I am a composer, technologist, and innovator whose interdisciplinary practice explores how emerging technologies and scientific ideas can become new artistic languages. Working primarily through sound and composition, I create technology-integrated works that bring together music, spatial sound, visual storytelling, performance, and digital media to expand how we perceive and experience art. My practice begins with a question: How can a new way of understanding the world generate a new way of making art? Rather than using technology simply as a tool or illustrating scientific ideas through art, I investigate how concepts such as uncertainty, probability, interconnectedness, transformation, and emergence can be translated into artistic structures, systems, and sensory experiences. This inquiry has led to the development of my Quantum Music Technology framework and my ongoing Quantum Symphony series. In these works, scientific and technological concepts become compositional principles. Musical elements can behave like particles, interact through probabilistic relationships, transform across time and space, and generate increasingly complex structures. Spatial sound, microtonality, electronic sound design, visual systems, and traditional orchestral writing become interconnected components of a larger artistic language. My recent work, Quantum Prelude: The Evolution of the Universe, extends this research into a large-scale technology-integrated contemporary classical...
