Artist statement

I am most interested in painting as an ever-developing language. A continuum which I can add to through the exploration of mediums on surfaces. I am adding my findings to the centuries-long list of discoveries. I am saying: Here is what I found. And asking: Has it existed? Does it do anything? Does it help?
