Lives and works in Beijing, China
Artist statement
I have long been deeply drawn to the solemn sanctity of ancient Chinese murals and Western religious painting—their exquisite imagery and spiritual depth captivate me. That is why, in my own work, I employ traditional Chinese mural techniques and dark, subdued backgrounds to create an ancient, mysterious atmosphere. I also draw on mythological stories and classical imagery as metaphors to explore the meaning and value of human life, believing that this approach enriches the readability of my pieces. My hope is that my work will move people’s hearts, dispel falsehoods, and inspire goodness.
