Artist statement

Zoe Antona’s is an interdisciplinary artist, whose work explores the profound nostalgic interplay between her Cuban heritage and cultivating connection through the lens of Abstract Expressionism. Drawing inspiration from her upbringing, and vibrant outlook on life, Antona explores a wide range of themes revolving around nostalgia, family lineage, and youthful memories. Antona is interested in the emotional and physical dimensions of intimacy, capturing the weight and dynamics inherent in relationships.
