Susan Begy
Born in Rochester, New York. Lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
2010 MFA, School of Visual Arts, New York, New York. 1984 BA in Studio Art, Western College of Colorado, Gunnison, Colorado.
"Begy’s work is part sci-fi part human. She operates at a really interesting intersection between organic references like intestines and bones and more linear scientific and mathematic influences. The mix of materials in her sculptural work is not always comfortable—a sensation I’m often searching for in art."

Michael M. Lopez
Born 1970 in Newark, New Jersey. Lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
"Lopez captures the weird and eerie atmosphere of the edges of a city—in his case Gowanus in Brooklyn which echoed his native Newark. His unbranded, yet to be gentrified spaces exude pathos and a kind of slow, odd sense of narrative."

Paolo Arao
Born 1977 in Manila, Phiippines. Lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.
1999 BFA, Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia.
"I’m in love with the vibrancy of Paolo Arao’s work which sits somewhere between textile and painting. His constructed sewn graphic abstract wall pieces fuse everything from the modernism of Anni Albers with the South American 1970s aesthetics and even a dose of post-cartoon rave acidity and a strong queer motivation addressing how we see."
