Marcelo Brodsky

Born 1954, lives and works in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

"Marcelo Brodsky is a force of perseverance, a revolutionist, and an activist, but above all a man using his art to raise awareness for the socio-political dynamics of our world. Brodsky is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice investigates human resilience—through images, words, and archival documents—and the ways in which specific memories have shaped our collective history. Through his work—where he speaks about oppressive regimes, migration, exile, and the fight for freedom—he leads us to question, forces us to reinterpret, and dares us to participate in the debate about our roles as active citizens in society."

Nikki Luna

Born in Manila, Philippines. Lives and works in Balearic Islands, Spain. 2019 MA, Goldsmiths, University of London.

"Nikki Luna's multimedia practice aims to take apart misconceptions and unveil the misogynist structures of power which are endemic both to the art world and to society at large. By shining a bright light on disturbing subjects, Luna makes us consider brutal and oppressive realities affecting millions of people. An advocate for women's rights in particular, Luna tackles social and political issues through a feminist lens, creating beautiful works that tell resonant and shocking stories of injustice."

Nandita Kumar

Born 1981 in Pamplemousses, Mauritius. Lives and works in North Goa, India. 2009 MFA, California Institute of the Arts, Valencia, California.

"Nadita Kumar is a new media artist whose practice resulted naturally from her early life growing up between several countries and continents, experiences that gave Kumar a passion for—and a unique perception of—dissimilar cultures. Her work is an expansive undertaking, where art, science, nature, technology, and even communities intersect to create immersive environmental spaces. Through her hybrid art—spanning installation, sculpture, painting and video—we are placed somewhere between the industrial and the natural, and forced to reflect on the impact of technology and the possibility for a sustainable shared future."
