Marisa Finos
Born 1985. Lives and works in Boston, Massachusetts.
2014 MFA, Virginia Commonwealth University, Richmond, Virginia. 2007 BFA, University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth, North Dartmouth, Massachusetts.
"I am drawn to the vessels and structures Finos is creating as a set for her performances about the body. The structures are reminiscent of ancestral tombs, and I appreciate their organic materiality. Marisa's practice also has an affinity with the great Ana Mendieta's work about the body and landscape, life and death."

"Sacha Ingber creates fantastical architecture with her sculptural wall works that invite one's imagination to daydream. I like how unique the work is, hovering between sculpture, painting and craft."
