Adam Farah-Saad

b. 1991, London, UK. Lives and works in London, UK. 2014 BA (Hons), Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts, London.

"I have never felt so at home among artworks like I do in Adam Farah-Saad’s worlds. Aptly named ‘WHAT I’VE LEARNED FROM YOU AND MYSELF (PEAK MOMENTATIONS / INSIDE MY VELVET ROPE MIX)’, Farah-Saad’s presentation at Camden Arts Centre in 2021 playfully explored the intimacies of heartache, longing, desire, and loss with ‘endz poetic,’ anchoring it in a deeply, specifically familiar backdrop of a swiftly changing London. As an artist, composer, sauce-maker and bootleg archivist—Farah-Saad creates worlds of tender wounds and critical reflections with iPods, poppers, cruising, and moving, set to softly playing background tracks by Mariah Carey."

Chantel Foo

b. 1997, Singapore. Lives and works in London, UK. 2021 BA Fine Art and History of Art, Goldsmiths, University of London.

"Chantel Foo’s medium is the body: its glimmer, slippages, glitches, excavations through movements. Foo also explores elements of sculpture, sounds, technological locations, and writing. It is easy to feel lost in the non-linearity of Foo’s work, and feel at ease in it. With a background in traditional Chinese dance, Foo challenges their relationship with the body and its history as their home, how it relates to perception of the gaze, and how it is situated in time. Often, Foo moves through associations between the instrumentals with the theatrical and spiritual, articulating the birth of a new womb for these movements."

Vy Trinh

b. 1996, Saigon, Vietnam. Lives and works in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. 2023 MFA, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. 2019 BFA, Parsons School of Design, New York, NY, United States.

"Vy Trinh’s practice explores the sculptural reconfiguration of Saigon heat: the sprawling bodies of construction sites, the scent and markings of rubber of the city’s infinite rivers of mopeds, the glass windows of its tall buildings and the glimmer of blinding sun bouncing off it. There is a sense of tenderness in Trinh’s workings and reworkings of raw and found materials such as brass, fan guards, plastic wrap, bicycle wheels, ball chains, and cable ties that fall together into flickering dreams of a city I find at once familiar and fantastical."
