# Foundwork

> Foundwork is a Los Angeles-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit supporting access and recognition for contemporary artists worldwide. Its online platform lets artists working in any medium share their work with curators, gallerists, and other collaborators, who use it for curatorial research. Foundwork also runs the Foundwork Artist Prize, Guest Curators, and Dialogues.

Foundwork is not a marketplace: there are no prices or sales on the platform. Artists manage their own profiles and keep the copyrights in their work. Founded in New York in 2017, Foundwork hosts artists based in more than 60 countries.
